Parenting Plan Pro ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting the privacy of our users ("you" or "your"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our online parenting plan builder service (the "Service").

2. Information We Collect

Personal Information You Provide:

• Account information: name, email address, and password when you create an account.
• Parenting plan data: names, addresses, children's information (names, dates of birth), custody arrangements, schedules, and other details you enter into the plan builder.
• Payment information: processed securely through our third-party payment processor (Stripe). We do not store your credit card numbers on our servers.

Automatically Collected Information:

• Device and browser information (browser type, operating system).
• IP address and approximate geographic location.
• Usage data (pages visited, features used, time spent on the Service).
• Cookies and similar tracking technologies.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

• To provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
• To generate your parenting plan document based on the information you provide.
• To process transactions and send related information.
• To send you transactional emails, including payment confirmations, storage expiration notices, and account notifications.
• To respond to your comments, questions, and customer support requests.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your parenting plan data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption and access controls. We use Supabase for data storage, which employs row-level security policies to ensure that your data is only accessible to you.

PDF documents generated from your parenting plan are stored in secure cloud storage with signed URLs that expire after 7 days. You may regenerate your PDF at any time while your plan is active.

While we implement commercially reasonable security measures, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

Your parenting plan data is retained according to the following schedule:

• Default storage: 30 days from the date of purchase. You will receive email notifications as your storage expiration date approaches.
• Extended storage: Available for purchase, extending your storage period to 2 years from the date of the extension purchase.
• Grace period: After storage expiration, your data enters a 30-day grace period during which you may purchase extended storage to restore access.
• Data purge: After the grace period expires, your parenting plan data and any associated PDF documents are permanently deleted from our systems. This action is irreversible.

Account information (name and email) is retained as long as your account remains active. You may request account deletion by contacting us at the email address below.

6. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate the Service:

• Supabase: Database hosting, authentication, and file storage.
• Stripe: Payment processing. Stripe's privacy policy governs how they handle your payment information.
• Resend: Transactional email delivery.
• Vercel: Application hosting and deployment.

These third-party services have their own privacy policies, and we encourage you to review them. We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information to outside parties beyond what is necessary to provide the Service.

7. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to maintain your authenticated session, remember your preferences, and improve your experience. Essential cookies are required for the Service to function properly.

You may configure your browser to refuse cookies, but this may limit your ability to use certain features of the Service.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is intended for use by adults (18 years of age or older). We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. The children's information entered into the plan builder (names, dates of birth) is provided by the parent or legal guardian using the Service.

If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without parental consent, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
